I'm a New York City-based freelance photojournalist and photographer and a frequent contributor to The New York Times. My work has also appeared in Reuters, CNN, Le Monde, Mother Jones, Bloomberg, Forbes, NBC News, TIME, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Politico, Paper Magazine, Aperture, HuffPost, and other national and international publications.

I'm drawn to stories about people and the communities they create. Whether I'm covering breaking news, photographing a conference, documenting a protest, or making portraits, I love finding the small moments that help tell a bigger story. I try to approach every assignment with empathy and curiosity.

My work has also been exhibited by the Center for Brooklyn History, the Brooklyn Public Library, and Pace University, and featured in public campaigns across New York City.
